The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence will supply next generation cells for BMW starting in 2026. About The Role
As an integral team member at AESC US LLC, you'll have a pivotal role in driving our mission forward—to pioneer comprehensive battery solutions for a sustainable tomorrow. Reporting to the Project Manager at the site, you'll help oversee and organize documentation for the Florence South Carolina project(s), including electronic document management system coordination with program management.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining Document Control processes assuring document control, cataloging, change control and archival requirements are met for the project.
- Support the workflow reviews and delivery of required documents for the project, overseeing the flow and management of documents from all project team members.
- Ensuring that all project documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.
- Participate in the management of interfaces with all project parties involved with the EDMS, ensuring the workflows and distribution matrices are managed for accurate, fast, and efficient information sharing. Identify and mitigate obstacles as necessary.
- Manage transmittals from EDMS, coordinate workflow responses from project team members and all other associated tasks.
- Trains project team members in processes and document control software as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with maintaining document management systems on large projects
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud BIM 360 preferred.
- Fully versed with using an EDMS system.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a client centered focus.
- Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office products strongly preferred.
- High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency.
- Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)
- Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
