Role SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Blackline Administrator to support the maintenance, configuration and optimization of Blackline Platform. This role will serve as the primary system administrator and point of contact for Blackline- related issues, enhancements and user support across the organization. This position can be located in either Normal, IL, Plymouth, MI or Atlanta, GA and will report to our EPM Staff Financial Systems Analyst
Responsibilities- Become the in-house BlackLine expert and partner with the business to support modules
such as Account Reconciliations, Journal entries and answer any technical, software, and
accounting questions. - Partner with accounting, finance and IT teams to support month-end close activities and
ensure the platform is optimized for efficiency and compliance. - Maintain day-to-day system operations, including user access, security, and master data
management – ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements,
including record assignments - Support enhancements to existing modules and implement future modules to support
Rivian's scaling business. - Stay updated with Blackline updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend
and implement enhancements as needed. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, escalating to BlackLine support
when necessary.
Qualifications- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, IT systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with BlackLine, including implementations and support
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial close processes, and internal
controls. - Experience with ERP integrations (e.g. SAP) is a plus.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be adaptable to change, both big and small
- Constant desire to learn and challenge others to find the best solution, not afraid of failure
- Willing and able to define processes and refine their own role
- Deadline oriented with the ability to work independently with multiple priorities in a fast-
paced environment - Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow for issue tracking and service support
Pay DisclosureSalary Range for Illinois Based Applicants: $98,500 - $123,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
