Intro
EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time DC Level 4 Electrician with Telecom experience for one of our partners, a trusted industry leader in electrical services nationwide. In this position, you will install and maintain DC power systems, work alongside talented professionals to accomplish project goals, and communicate directly with customers while maintaining high-quality standards. This role typically follows a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule from Monday to Thursday (with occasional Friday and weekend work), primarily during day shifts but may include night shifts when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Install DC cabling equipment, such as power plant and distribution equipment
- Lace DC cables to an overhead structure
- Perform power transitions on working distribution systems
- Complete additions or removal of batteries
- Install fused/breaker panels
- Install monitoring cables and systems
- Add or remove power equipment, equipment bays, and overhead support structure
- Safely drive company-owned and/or rented vehicles/trailers
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Communicate with customers throughout the project duration
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Adhere to customer standards across all project aspects
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical troubleshooting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical wiring
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel 100%
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in 2-person teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in telecommunications infrastructure
- Experience with battery systems
- Knowledge of monitoring systems
- Familiarity with equipment bay installation
