TITLE: Electrified Powertrain Software Integration Engineer
DUTIES: Manage the Software planning of Platform Releases by ensuring design, planning, and scheduling of releases is according to the overall program roadmap and release calendar/milestones. Architect, develop, integrate, build and test all the Electrified Powertrain applications. Coordinate and participate in architecture, requirements, design, code, and test case reviews. Work closely with software teams to quickly resolve issues, test on vehicles as needed. Perform technical coordination, problem triage
and solution. Improve processes to deliver results with quality and according to schedule. Control development using MATLAB -- Simulink/ Stateflow module. Generate code using MATLAB - RTW/ embedded coder module. Measure network parameters using CANoe/CANalyzer. Measure using ETAS - INCA. Monitor Controller resources. Test bench flashing & verification. Work with calibration tools and product development tools oriented towards the automotive industry.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position in automotive software development. Alternately, Master’s degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related and 3 years of experience in job offered or related position in automotive software development. Experience must include: Experience in software development and diagnostics tools (including HIL testers, CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB Simulink/ Stateflow, C/ C++, RTW/ Embedded Coder, Simulink Coder; experience working with Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow in hybrid controls environment; working with ETAS INCA Tool; working with Model Based Design (MBD) with production code generation; development and testing of powertrain controls in hybrid or electric vehicles; experience in embedded software development; experience in hybrid control algorithms & software development; experience in AUTOSAR compliant controller development; knowledge of OBD II; knowledge of CMMI software development process.
