Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior People Analytics Data Analyst to join our team supporting people analytics strategy for RV Tech. In this critical role, you will leverage our people data to generate actionable insights and develop robust reporting solutions that directly inform strategic decisions related to our talent and workforce. You will partner closely with HR business partners, talent acquisition, learning & development, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs, design and implement data models optimized for people data, and create compelling visualizations that drive impactful people data strategies. A strong understanding of HR data domains, data warehousing principles, and advanced analytics techniques applied to human capital is essential. Experience with People technologies like Workday, iCIMS, ServiceNow (HRSD) and enterprise data warehouse and data visualization.
ResponsibilitiesPeople Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze large and complex HR datasets (from systems like Workday, iCIMS, ServiceNow) to identify key trends, patterns, and insights related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance, retention, diversity & inclusion, and learning effectiveness.
- Interpret complex people data and translate findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into data anomalies and discrepancies to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- People Analytics Reporting and Visualization:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports specifically focused on people metrics using HEX.
- Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate key people performance indicators (KPIs) and workforce trends to various stakeholders.
- Automate people data reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
People Data Modeling and Warehousing:
- Develop and maintain data models and data warehouse structures optimized for HR data to support people analytics and reporting needs.
- Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various HR systems into the people data warehouse.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all people data systems.
Collaboration and Communication (HR Focus):
- Collaborate closely with HR business partners, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and other HR teams to understand their strategic questions and translate them into analytics requirements.
- Communicate complex people data findings and insights to HR and business audiences in a clear, understandable, and impactful manner, tailoring the message to their specific needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts on people analytics best practices.
Technology and Tools (HR Data Emphasis):
- Utilize and optimize data analysis and reporting tools relevant to people analytics, including SQL, Python (for HR data manipulation and analysis), and data visualization software (especially HEX).
- Leverage cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks for large-scale processing and analysis of HR data.
- Work within HEX to create and share collaborative people analytics projects with HR stakeholders.
- Experience working with HR-specific systems like Workday, iCIMS, and ServiceNow (HR Service Delivery) for data extraction and analysis is highly desirable.
Qualifications Pay DisclosureSalary Range for Palo Alto, CA based applicants: $173,000 - $216,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Full Time Employee coverage is effective on the first day of employment. Part-Time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
