We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Laborer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a diverse set of handyman skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Prep surfaces, apply paint and other finishes
- Perform touch-ups and repairs
- Cut and fit ceiling tiles, repair furniture and countertops
- Install ceramic tiles, remove and reinstall fixtures
- Communicate with clients to understand requirements
- Estimate project time and material costs
- Implement work orders and assignments
- Set up and maintain safety equipment
- Assemble scaffolding when required
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Manage inventory of supplies
- Follow safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Handyman or in a similar role, including experience with painting, repairs, and installations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred requirements:
- Familiarity with tools and materials used in handyman tasks
- Basic mathematical skills for project estimation
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience working directly with clients
- Knowledge of advanced repair techniques
- Certification in relevant trade skills
