About The Role
As a CBRE Research Analyst you'll track, analyze, and report on market conditions and trends in the Northern Virginia market. The role supports sales professionals and their clients for office and industrial properties, with occasional ad hoc support on other property types. The role includes a hybrid schedule with three days per week in office on a standard week.
What You'll Do
- Be engaged in a fast-paced environment.
- Be responsible for collecting, analyzing and creating content of actionable, commercial insights.
- Communicate trends and market intelligence through published quarterly reports, as well as trend reports, presentations and other deliverables that position CBRE as the dominant voice in the industry and market.
- Use CBRE’s proprietary research database to manage real estate market data.
- Support new business development initiatives and client engagement by developing nuanced, customized analysis and materials in support of investment and location decisions.
- Provide data collection and analysis on the local market for global, regional and local research initiatives as needed.
- Be responsive to multiple internal and external constituencies: Mid-Atlantic leadership, Americas Research leadership, sales professionals, and clients.
- Join managers in giving formal presentations of trends to internal sales professionals
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, City Planning, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field of study
- At least 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to identify and track commercial real estate supply and demand trends.
- Knowledge of the real estate market; knowledge of Northern Virginia real estate market a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and weighted averages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, including pivot tables and formulas; PowerPoint with strong presentation skills; MS Word with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.
