Your Role at Allison
As the Talent Development Lead for the talent management team, and reporting to the Director of Talent Management, you will guide the performance and succession COEs at Allison Transmission.
You will facilitate the design, development and delivery of COE initiatives that align with the organization's most pressing business challenges and talent skill gaps. You will create custom solutions and use industry acknowledged programs that challenge and support our employees to be their best while achieving Allison’s long-term strategic goals.
Talent Development Lead Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the Allison performance, succession, and development experience, including:
- ·Be a trusted advisor, building strong relationships across departments to foster a culture of performance and development.
- ·Measure and improve employee engagement, ensuring performance, succession, and development initiatives are effectively tracked and trending positively.
- ·Ensure data-driven decision-making by providing accessible, useful, and trustworthy performance, succession, and development data at all levels of the organization.
- ·Develop and optimize global performance, succession, and development processes, ensuring they are well-documented, easy to access, and consistently followed.
- ·Support and refine career pathing and leadership development programs to cultivate high-potential employees and future leaders.
- ·Oversee strategic initiatives that evolve performance and development frameworks, leveraging external insights, training, and lessons learned.
- ·Establish and refine assessment strategies, defining when and how they are used to elevate talent development.
- ·Collaborate with Recruiting and Learning Leads to deliver an integrated and exceptional talent management experience.
- ·Coordinate system support and HR technology by partnering with internal and external teams, managing Workday administration, and serving as a business process expert.
- ·Use analytics to drive action, telling compelling data-driven stories that inform strategic workforce planning.
- ·Manage COE resources effectively, including budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.
- ·Contribute to Allison’s Employee Value Proposition, ensuring performance and development initiatives align with Allison’s talent philosophy.

Organized yet adaptable, you're a tech-savvy talent systems administrator and a collaborative team player who brings creativity and action to everything you do.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology, psychology, human resources, management, or related field OR equivalent experience or a mix of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a corporate talent environment overseeing performance, succession, development, and assessment programs.
- Expertise in designing and implementing talent process enhancements.
Preferred
- Strong preference will be given to those with experience as a Workday talent business process owner.
- Experience with manufacturing and global teams.
- Certifications in Hogan tools.
