What To Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Global Supply Manager to support our tester development teams in sourcing testing equipment. This role will report to our Supply Chain Group Manager and in parallel be an active sourcing resource supporting our various Engineering groups within Tesla.
What You'll Do
Build technical knowledge of SMT & Module level tester such as ICT testing, flashing fixture, functional testersDevelop and issue complete RFQ packages to potential suppliers Validate, analyze, and make sourcing recommendations based on quote packages from suppliersFully support aggressive program and project timelinesDirect spend management for tester/fixture equipment covering both NPI and Mass Production Support organizational cost management objectives by identifying and negotiating commercial cost reduction opportunitiesOwner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiatedCultivate Best-in-Industry supplier relationships as single point of contact for all commercial and strategic issuesDevelop a comprehensive understanding of Tesla’s procurement, production, and related ERP systems
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electric Engineering, Automation Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience2-5 years of experience in a Sourcing role, Electronics capital expenditure, preferably for PCBA/Module level testing Having expertise on wireless testers is plus Understanding of contract fundamentals and experience in handling GT&C and SOW Experience developing "should-cost" estimates and analyzing supplier quotes Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve Demonstrated experience achieving and exceeding cost-reduction objectives Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, with cross functional teams including engineers and operations team Team player and with strong interpersonal and project management skillsAnalyze manufacturing processes, technology landscape, and supplier pool, and build strong should-cost

Expected Compensation
$82,800 - $189,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
