What To Expect
Tesla’s Pre-Employment Associate will deliver exceptional service to the broader Recruiting and HR organizations. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for supporting business initiatives within Recruiting. This includes a variety of functions from pre-employment assessments (background checks), recruiting event support, new hire onboarding, and data management. You’ll work with team members who prioritize exceptional service to recruiters, hiring managers and to each other, with timely follow-up, thoroughness in your work product, and attention to detail. The most successful Associates are those who can efficiently navigate last-minute changes and a high volume of requests, while continuing to deliver an exceptional experience to all business partners.
This position can be based in Fremont or Lathrop, CA.
What You'll Do
Play a key role in managing onboarding, the pre-employment assessment process, special projects and ad hoc requests from internal and external compliance teamsManage pre-employment assessment requests and ensure results are returned, reviewed, and reported to appropriate stakeholdersAccurately enter data into our applicant tracking system for all candidate updates and escalate issues and exception requests to upper managementHandle a high volume of recruiter and candidate inquiries and ensure Service Level Agreements are metConduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of dataEnsure the strict confidentiality of employee information and personal dataAssess, recommend and implement process improvements as needed
What You'll Bring
Degree preferred or relevant experience with a minimum of two years of experience using applicant tracking systems in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning with a polished and professional demeanorAble to juggle multiple priorities at once while remaining calm and adapting to shifting prioritiesMust be a team player with excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skillsCompetent skills to produce accurate and well-presented presentations, reports and spreadsheets; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, particularly VLOOKUP and macrosComfortable completing repetitive tasks with the ability to deliver results and meet tight deadlines

Expected Compensation
$28.00 - $42.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
