What To Expect
Security Intelligence Investigators are responsible for the protection of Tesla's intellectual property, trade secrets, and confidential information. This role will conduct both proactive and reactive investigations and actively address internal and external threats to Tesla's equities. This role will report to the Manager for Security Intelligence Investigations.

What You'll Do
Be a member of a team of investigators to identify, exploit, disrupt, or protect against any undermining of Tesla's business operationsConduct highly sensitive, complex, and confidential investigations into incidents of data loss, intellectual property theft, technology misuse, and conflict of interestCollaborate with technical forensic investigators to integrate technical and human investigations into one high efficiency functionPartner with Legal and Human Resources and other investigative/analysis functions across the company to ensure timely completion of investigationsAdvise the company on the findings of investigations and liaise with law enforcement and outside counsel as necessaryWill be required to solve complex problems with data from multiple sources and make recommendations to leadership on the appropriate strategy Must effectively communicate at all levels of the company, including at the executive level
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of experience as an investigator with local, state or federal law enforcement or intelligence community and/or equivalent experience in a corporate security environmentExperience in conducting and overseeing complex, global, investigations with experience using open-source investigative techniques, including social media analysisDemonstrated knowledge of investigation strategies utilizing technical forensic capabilities and dataProven track record managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while remaining focused on critical prioritiesDemonstrated experience of regular communication at executive level within a global environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Excel. Experience with SOAR/SIEM platforms and DLP tools is a plusThe highest level of integrity and honesty and the ability to protect sensitive confidential information

Expected Compensation
$128,000 - $228,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
