What To Expect
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be a part of the infrastructure design and construction team at Gigafactory Nevada. You will play an essential role in sustaining organizational operations for projects in a manufacturing environment by coordinating efforts across a wide range of cross functional teams. You will lead and coordinate efforts across various cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with overarching program goals and facilitating seamless execution of projects.
What You'll Do
Own the full engineering, procurement, and construction infrastructure development from concept to production to meet aggressive goalsReview technical issues from a high level and assess their program-level impacts as well as deep-dive to support problem solving effortsPartner with stakeholders to create detailed plans that cover strategy, scope, timelines, risks, resource needs, and cost targets to accelerate pivotal infrastructure programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as Factory Design, Factory Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Product Engineering/Manufacturing, Legal, Real Estate, Finance, Operations, and other supporting functions to drive infrastructure programsFacilitate productive meetings across project teams, providing and following up with action items as necessarySupport the personal and professional growth of the team through managing training databases and developing new training/learning programsEmploy a can-do attitude, taking on challenges required to support the team and get things doneReview internal communication and documentation for efficiency and succinct expressionOffer organizational support to the leadership team and anticipate, plan, and synchronize internal logistics across various projects Own project funding request process in collaboration with construction team
What You'll Bring
Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in program managementExperience with managing multi-disciplinary within architectural/engineering firms, and experience with managing complex MEP projectsStrong interpersonal skills, ability to develop channels of communication, manage professional relationships, and motivate othersThrives under pressure and in ambiguous environmentsAbility to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to operate autonomously with minimal guidance, demonstrating a proactive and motivated mindsetAbility to drive communication within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines, aggressive goals and demanding work environment
