Expectations:EMS and OBD-II Calibration & ValidationAssist in EMS/OBD calibration and validation for North American requirements, including control function calibration and validation for mass production with a focus on Gasoline Particulate Filter and new technology development for enhanced emission regulationsProject Support & Technical Problem-SolvingSupport team success by coordinating test and development plans, tracking project status, providing technical support for pre-production issues, and delivering presentations on project milestones and resultsGoal(s):The intern will gain hands-on experience in EMS/OBD calibration and validation processes for North American requirements. They will contribute to successful project completion through active participation in validation tests, issue resolution, and the development of new technologies, culminating in presentations that highlight project achievements.Minimum Requirements:Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering
- Preferably, sophomore standing or higher
Experience developing MATLAB or Python scripts for data analysis and visualizationStrong analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skillsStrong desire to take responsibility for an engineering task related to emission reduction and develop a plan to execute itPreferred Qualification(s):
- Hands-on vehicle experience or student project experience in Formula SAE/Baja/Ecocar or robotics
