What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start around May 2025 and continue through the Summer term (approximately August 2025) or into Fall 2025 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.
About The Team
As a member of the Infotainment Software team, you will utilize existing data pipelines, and establish new ones, to bring meaningful insights and create products for the Infotainment system in our rapidly expanding global customer fleet.
The ideal candidate in this position will have familiarity in curating data and training language models to assist in intent categorization and named entity recognition. This will also include application building using Python, Kubernetes, and other CI/CD tools.
What You'll Do
Establish labeled and split data sets to fine-tune NLP based machine learning models Iterate across multiple models to determine accuracy and fit for project needs Perform data analysis using Spark, SQL, and Python Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications Support application-level development, monitoring, support, and debugging
What You'll Bring
Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, math, computer engineering or related field with a graduation date between August 2025 – May 2026 Experience working with NLP machine learning models Experience working with deep learning / fine-tuning Experience working with advanced data analysis tools Experience with Python, Spark, and SQL Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD methods Strong aptitude to collaborate with different internal stakeholders to understand requirements and developing systems and tools to meet them Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy A passion and curiosity for data and data-driven decision making

Expected Compensation
$32.45 - $45.43/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
