What To Expect
As the program manager, you will be responsible for compiling technical data, generating program schedule drafts, recording program decisions, coordinating escalations and chairing cross company communication/decision forums. You will need to work with peers across the company including all studio, engineering, supply chain, factory and sales departments to collect the required information and communicate program direction. You will work closely with Vehicle Program Managers and Vehicle Technical Leaders to document and coordinate vehicle development efforts. You will work on new and existing vehicle programs from concept through ongoing production to plan and maintain projects that keep Tesla vehicles world leading and break new industry boundaries.
What You'll Do
Collect and manage project relevant data required for schedules, technical reviews and escalationsDevelop vehicle program schedules based on collected data and company guidelines. Work with peers to enable aggressive schedule alignmentChair program relevant escalation meetings including regular program meeting communications, program status updates, change control forums and technical decision making forumsCoordinate and prepare regular executive program update content with support from cross functional groupsDevelop and maintain document control systems to track program scope, technical decisions, changes, schedules and business casesEnable cross-functional teams in making data driven decisions that advance the project and inform leadership decision makingCommunicate and guide teams with certainty through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or other related degree or equivalent experience2+ years program/project management experience managing cross-functional product development programs with technical engineering and manufacturing inputsExperience in fast paced environment with exposure to end-to-end product deploymentAbility to work with limited resources, independently, tight deadlines, and with urgencyExperience of program management tool mastery including authoring schedules and work trackingExcellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functionally environmentExcellent organization and delegation skills with ability to own the product roadmap and schedule with a track record of delivering projects on-time

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
