The Opportunity
This Project Manager (PM) position plays a pivotal role in expanding electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI). You'll manage the deployment of EV charging stations, fostering strong relationships with client stakeholders, construction and site acquisition teams, and internal operations personnel. Your focus is ensuring all customer-specific requirements, project deliverables, and timelines are met for the successful build-out of EV charging infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Oversee client EV charger installation projects, guaranteeing all specifications and client expectations are fulfilled within the agreed-upon timeframe (determined by both client and company leadership).
- Serve as the primary liaison between designated project managers and assigned projects. Regularly report project status updates to all relevant stakeholders, including clients, company representatives, and leadership.
- Maintain market-level accountability for quality, project timelines, and cost objectives associated with all assigned EV charger installations.
- Collaborate with all company departments involved in the assigned project's scope to ensure seamless coordination and communication to achieve project goals.
- Uphold data accuracy and timeliness for assigned projects. Work closely with internal team members, contractors, and clients to guarantee all activities and reporting are reliable and delivered on schedule.
- Initiate, lead, and actively participate in essential meetings/calls with clients, company teams, and/or vendors. Prioritize early problem-solving and continuous communication to keep EV charger installation programs on track and meet client expectations.
- Review and interpret documents like zoning permits and construction drawings to ensure the project's scope adheres to all requirements across all entities, including accurate bills of materials and material acquisition.
- Collaborate closely with client project management to optimize cycle times and project durations for EV charger installations.
- Ensure all process requirements are met and documented accordingly. Furthermore, guarantee all documents are properly uploaded and stored in the client's designated document repositories.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the field or project management, ideally with a background in site development and/or construction projects is required.
- Project Management Expertise: Exceptional time management and project management skills, enabling effective balance and multi-tasking while maintaining strong written and verbal communication, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
