The Opportunity
As an EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Project Manager, you'll lead the deployment of clean energy solutions, overseeing all aspects from client relationship management to construction and team coordination. This role ensures projects meet specific client needs, deliver on time, and adhere to budget constraints. Responsibilities
- Oversee client projects involving electric vehicle (EV) charging station installation, ensuring all requirements and expectations are met within the agreed timeline established by the client and company leadership.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated project managers on assigned EV charging infrastructure projects. Regularly report project status updates to all relevant stakeholders, including clients, company representatives, and leadership.
- Hold accountability at the market level for achieving quality, schedule, and cost objectives across all assigned EV charger installation projects.
- Work closely with all relevant company departments involved in the assigned project scope (design, engineering, procurement, construction) to maintain seamless coordination and communication, ultimately achieving project goals.
- Champion data integrity for assigned EV charging station projects. Collaborate with internal team members, contractors, and clients to ensure all activity reports and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
- Initiate, lead, and actively participate in essential meetings/calls with clients, company teams, and vendors. Promote timely project completion by proactively identifying and resolving potential issues while continuously managing client expectations.
- Review and interpret documents like zoning regulations and construction drawings to guarantee the accurate execution of the project scope for all entities involved, including managing bills of materials and procurement of relevant equipment.
- Work collaboratively with client project management to achieve optimal cycle times and project durations for EV charger installations.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant processes and procedures for EV charging station installations. Guarantee all project documents are accurately filed and readily accessible within the client's designated document repository.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in field operations or project management, ideally involving site development and/or construction projects related to EV charging infrastructure (EVCI).
- Project Management Expertise: Exceptional time management and project management skills, allowing effective balance and multi-tasking while delivering strong written and verbal communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-Directed Leader: Thrive in an autonomous environment while also being a strong team player. Must possess a high sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Results-Driven Approach: Demonstrate the ability to influence team members and processes to ensure timely project delivery within budget for all assigned EVCI projects.
