Overview
We are seeking an ambitious
Data Engineer Intern to join our Product Management team. This role is designed for students who are eager to apply their technical skills in a real-world product management context. The intern will work on integrating and managing data solutions that support product development and decision-making processes.
The internship requires to be onsite in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and data scientists to design and build data architectures that support product initiatives
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data pipelines and architectures aligned with business goals
- Implement data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize data quality and efficiency
- Utilize programming skills in SQL, Python, or similar to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
- Document and maintain data systems and database designs for ongoing product projects
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong focus on data engineering
- Proficient in data manipulation languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and big data technologies
- Understanding of software engineering and data architecture principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively share insights and technical details across functional teams
