We’re currently on the lookout for an Aerothermal Intern. You will help get our test data prepared and post processed so that we can validate the 1D models. With validated models we will be able to react to vehicle and system level changes more quickly to meet program timelines.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Preparing test data for post processing
- Prepare one stop shop for all thermal requirements (vehicle level, system level, and component level)
- Assist with 1D Thermal modeling and architecture updates
- Assist with 1D model validation
Qualifications
You have:
- Enrolled in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. program, in EE, EET, ME, MET, Automotive Engineering, or related degree, with a focus on working with electro-mechanical systems
- The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group setting
- The ability to work independently
- The have the ability to deliver succinct written and verbal communication
- Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems.
- Experience safely working with high voltage preferred
- The ability to analyze data, as well as developing analytical tools to command functions, to monitor responses, to parse data from log files, or to aid in data review
- Creative capacity for developing new ways to integrate complex system better and faster in alignment with the aggressive industry approach to revolutionary product development
- Must be highly motivated and able to manage multiple assignments concurrently with limited supervision, while driving day-to-day operations
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.
