Tesla is looking for an exceptional Technical Recruiter to support hiring across our engineering and technical organizations. You will partner with business leaders and hiring managers to identify, attract, assess, and hire top talent responsible for developing next-generation products, automating manufacturing lines, building software and AI systems, and advancing the "machine that builds the machine." Recruiting at Tesla is fast-paced and high-impact; hiring timelines are often compressed, but the work is exciting and meaningful to our mission. This role may support teams across software, hardware, AI, manufacturing engineering, facilities, infrastructure, materials, and related technical disciplines. This role is open in both Palo Alto, CA and Fremont, CA
What You'll Do
Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess talent requirements, advise on hiring strategy, and develop plans to meet goals Build and maintain robust pipelines of qualified technical candidates for near-term and future hiring needs using creative, multi-channel sourcing approaches Own full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, behavioral interviewing, coordination, and offer support as needed Efficiently manage time, resources, and multiple concurrent requisitions while keeping business partners informed through regular updates Develop strong working relationships with recruiters, sourcers, business leaders, and hiring managers across the organization Maintain an expert-level understanding of recruiting processes, tools, and workflows in an environment that frequently changes Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity
What You'll Bring
Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting or sourcing experience from a corporate or agency environment Experience recruiting engineers, technical specialists, or niche skilled roles across engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, facilities, or related disciplines Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent technical requisitions in a high-growth, high-volume environment Proven track record of sourcing and assessing technical talent, including passive candidates in competitive markets Experience and familiarity with recruiting tools such as an ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms Strong relationship management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills with hiring teams and business leaders Ability to work with urgency, navigate ambiguity, balance efficiency with quality, and operate effectively under challenging deadlines
