Responsibilities
- On-site Execution: Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance for battery energy storage systems (BESS), ensuring optimal system performance and safety.
- Task Management: Execute service activities and assignments in strict accordance with directives from headquarters and established company procedures.
- Regional Team Leadership: Oversee the task allocation, daily supervision, and technical mentorship of regional field service personnel to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Workflow Support: Guide and assist regional team members with accurate work order submission, documentation, and reporting.
- Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for regional emergencies, coordinating rapid response efforts to minimize system downtime and operational impact.
- Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer relationships proactively, address technical inquiries effectively, and take ownership of customer satisfaction metrics within the region.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical consulting and troubleshooting support (both on-site and remotely) to end-users, local dealers, and distribution partners.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments regarding quality issues, system performance, and emergency protocols. Support regional field activities including data collection, quality rework, and system commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Three (3) + years and of on-site experience in the battery or automotive industries.
- Preferred: Proven hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of utility-scale energy storage systems (BESS).
- Strong understanding of battery structural principles, failure modes, and common maintenance procedures.
- Fundamental electrical knowledge and familiarity with after-sales service workflows; practical battery maintenance experience is a plus.
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be adaptable to frequent business travel and flexible working hours, capable of performing efficiently under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to draft technical reports, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive complex issues to resolution.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English,Chinese and local Language.
