What To Expect
As the Design Studio Program Manager and EA, you will be the right-hand and operational partner to the Sr Design Executive, responsible for defining Design Studio program specifications in combination with the Program team, manage all administrative functions, schedules and work flows, formally communicating program direction and negotiating program schedules. You will work closely with a broad spectrum of cross-company teams to balance Design Studio needs and manage programs. These teams include, but are not limited to: studio, programs, engineering, supply chain, factory and sales departments. You will work closely with Vehicle Technical Leaders and company executives to align company direction, vehicle and product specifications. Your work will impact new and existing Design Studio programs from concept through ongoing production to plan and maintain projects that keep Tesla products world leading and break new industry boundaries.
What You'll Do
Develop, negotiate, and approve Design Studio program schedules, business cases, and budgets; ensure ongoing cross-departmental alignment on technical, scheduling, and business matters throughout the program lifecycleNegotiate product specifications formally and informally through change control and translate company priorities into actionable workstreams for teamsAnalyze program risks, drive mitigations, and escalate as needed; communicate program direction, specifications, and schedules to downstream departments, guiding teams through rapid development cycles and changing requirementsInform and advise the Design VP on critical program direction and decisions, collecting input as requiredProvide comprehensive administrative support to the Sr. Design Executive, including calendar management, domestic and international travel booking, expense reporting, and preparation of executive-level documents, presentations, and correspondenceTake detailed meeting notes, synthesize outcomes, track follow-ups, and maintain and continuously improve workflow standards to ensure operational efficiencyCollaborate with Executive Assistants and support organizations (IT, HR, Workplace), staying current on company policies and resources, while handling all confidential information with the utmost discretion
What You'll Bring
5+ years program/project management and/or executive assistant experience managing cross-functional product development programs with technical engineering and manufacturing inputsDemonstrated experience in fast paced environment with exposure to end-to-end product deployment — from concept through development and successful launchDemonstrated ability to work with limited resources, independently, tight deadlines, and with urgencyDemonstrated experience using program management tools and processes to coordinate complex long-lead hardware and softwareExcellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills with ability to work in a highly cross-functionally environmentExperience working in the fields of product development or manufacturing engineering is an advantage

Expected Compensation
$102,600 - $188,100/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
