What To Expect
The Program Manager will be tasked with various duties in Tesla's Manufacturing/Remanufacturing facility, which will include team communications, orchestrate component level changes into the production lines and support the production launch of new products for specific engineering systems, including Infotainment, Exteriors, Powertrain, and Charging. Lead a cross-functional team to ensure engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain validation targets have been met for each change. Manage each project/program from early prototype builds through to the launch of production. Act as a liaison to the cross-functional groups in the launch of the product to ensure products are optimized for costs, manufacturability, testability, supply chain flexibility and efficiency. Drive the execution of the build plan, manpower, materials, machine, and methods in order to setup the manufacturing line to meet the business and quality targets. Following the launch, manage the flow of production identifying critical elements for resolution to ensure there is a smooth transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters. Serve as liaison with Service Engineering and Planning teams to strategize vehicle product compatibility, reduce service supply chain complexity and support critical projects.

What You'll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience in related field3+ years of progressive experience in product development within a high-volume industryOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of project staff and organizationDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, able to multi-task, meet critical deadlines with eye for accuracy and attention to detail; organized, dependable, and self-directedProven excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systemsBasic knowledge of CAD is required; CATIA experience is desirableWillingness to be hands-on with projects throughout the factory, with demonstrated Part/Product Development experience

Expected Compensation
$100,800 - $227,880/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
