Responsibilities:
- Coordination with external European patent law firms: selection, quality control, benchmarking
- Managing patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European patent office and the German patent office
- Participation in European patent litigation
- Assisting in the European patent law training of Chinese patent engineers
- Controlling the quality of English-language patent application drafting
Requirements:
- At least two years’ experience as a European patent attorney
- Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or related fields
- English as a working language
- Additional qualification as a German patent attorney highly welcome
- Chinese language and culture proficiency highly welcome
- Honesty, strong communication and coordination skills, strong self-motivation
