We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain optimization initiatives across our automotive manufacturing ecosystem.
This role is ideal for leaders with deep experience in automotive supply chain operations, transformation, and optimization in complex, high-volume manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization
- Lead enterprise-wide supply chain optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, resilience, cost structure, and service performance.
- Design and implement scalable supply chain strategies aligned with production growth, localization targets, and global expansion plans.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.
- Develop KPI frameworks and analytics to optimize inventory turns, lead time, OTIF, logistics cost, and supply continuity.
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Oversee integrated supply chain operations from supplier management to manufacturing support and distribution.
- Ensure material availability and production continuity across plants and regional operations.
- Strengthen S&OP / IBP processes to align demand forecasting, production planning, and supplier capacity.
- Manage escalation and risk mitigation related to supply disruption, component shortages, and logistics bottlenecks.
Supplier & Manufacturing Collaboration
- Build strategic partnerships with global and local suppliers to enhance flexibility, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and quality teams to improve operational synchronization.
- Support localization and supplier development initiatives, especially within the EV and automotive ecosystem.
Digital Transformation & Systems
- Lead digital supply chain transformation initiatives leveraging ERP, advanced planning systems, AI/analytics, and automation.
- Drive data visibility and operational transparency across the entire supply chain network.
- Champion best practices in lean operations, predictive planning, and smart logistics.
Leadership
- Lead and develop high-performing supply chain teams across multiple functions and regions.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on supply chain performance and optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related fields; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in supply chain management, with significant leadership experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing industries.
- Strong expertise in supply chain optimization, S&OP, inventory strategy, logistics, and manufacturing support.
- Proven experience working in automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EV manufacturers, or complex industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, transformation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience leading regional/global supply chain projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in fast-paced environments.
