In This Role, You Will
- Repairing and maintaining the tractor fleet as needed, repairs will be performed in shop, on site at customer’s facility or at our own test facilities.
- Work with engineering and quality teams to identify failures, help in root cause analysis and assist in implementing mitigation strategies
- Be able to rotate on call repair support of the night test team and rotate on call weekend support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs performed by updating the repair database.
- Provide clear communication on repair statuses to the engineering, test, quality and management teams.
Ideal Candidate Would Have
- Basic Electrical and Electronic troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage flexible work hours including overtime and weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel to customer locations using company work truck
- Strong communication skills. Both written and oral
- Ability to perform within a professional/tech environment
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Experience towing trailer
