What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join the Service Operations team—starting with dedicated ownership of our Tire Program, with a clear path to broader scope.
This role begins with leading strategy and execution across all facets of Tesla’s Tire business, including engineering, pricing, supply chain, protection plans, app integration, and customer experience. But we’re looking for someone eager to grow—who can take what they learn and apply it to similarly complex, cross-functional domains like Glass, High Voltage Battery Repair, and other Service opportunities.
You’ll be the connective tissue across multiple stakeholders, ensuring programs deliver a best-in-class ownership experience while supporting efficiency, profitability, and long-term scalability. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, has a systems-thinking mindset, and brings a bias for action.
This role will need to be located in either Palo Alto, CA; Austin, TX; or Draper, UT.
What You'll Do
Lead Tesla’s Tire Program—developing business strategy, owning program KPIs, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver resultsIdentify and scope future areas of ownership, such as windshield/glass programs, insurance-linked services, or high-voltage battery repair opsDrive continuous improvement using structured problem-solving, data analysis, and customer insightsPartner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Field, and Policy teams to scale executionBuild reports and dashboards with Business Analytics to track program performance and unlock actionable insightsWork closely with Training and Field Ops to ensure smooth adoption of changes
What You'll Bring
Experience in the automotive, tire, or service operations industry preferredStrong program and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to drive impact across functionsData-inclined with advanced Excel and comfort working with analytics teamsSelf-starter who thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environmentsDemonstrated ability to expand scope and grow beyond initial program charterTravel up to 25% to stay field-connected and operationally grounded
