Tesla's Infrastructure team is looking for a highly motivated Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to play a key role in accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. At our Cell Manufacturing Facility, you will collaborate closely with the Operations & Maintenance Manager to ensure our maintenance crews are performing optimally, always keeping safety as the top priority.
What You'll Do
Guide skilled technical staff and crafts in executing maintenance projects across various facilities systems which includes Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical & InstrumentationProvide comprehensive training and mentoring to shift personnel, promoting career growth and enhancing team performanceFormulate policies and procedures, supervise operational activities, and plan the efficient use of materials and human resourcesServe as the primary point of contact for shift-related issues, managing escalations, resolving technical problems, and acting as incident commander during facility excursionsConduct complex analyses, including root cause and failure mode analyses, to identify reliability improvements and implement effective corrective actionsWork with external service providers and contractors to ensure adherence to service agreements, quality standards, and safety protocolsDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems and equipment, validate task completion, ensure compliance with protocols (PM, SOP, SMP, PTP, etc.), and review performance data to measure productivity and achieve goals
What You'll Bring
6+ years of related trade experience supporting industrial manufacturing facilities with experience in BMS, Inventory Management, and CMMS applicationsAbility to sit at computer terminal, uses computer for extended periods of time, stand and/or walk for 10+ hours per dayWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per site protocolCapable of obtaining OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire, and capable of lifting at least 20 poundsSupport and/or work shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment
