Vehicle Preparation Co-ordinator to join our site in
Plymouth.
About The Role
You will be overseeing vehicle logistics, responsible for the booking in of new and used vehicle stocks and photographing vehicles for advertising and uploading on to the website where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- To check stock and sold vehicles arrive within the guidelines set by the vehicle suppliers and claims made where possible for costs incurred unnecessarily
- Ensure new and used stock and sold vehicles are mechanically and cosmetically prepared to advertising standards in line with the KPI’s set and are ready for sale or delivery
- Inspect all vehicles, checks for damage and missing items, informing the sales manager of any issues
- Vehicles tagged, labelled and details entered on to the system including preparation lines
- Photograph vehicles and upload photos onto website where necessary
- Liaise with internal and external preparation suppliers to ensure stock is prepared for sale to enable improved stock turn and increased vehicle sales
- Ensures security at the compound is maintained and regularly checked
- Provides assistance to the sales team as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experienced gained in the automotive industry would be advantageous but not essential
- An understanding of vehicle preparation standards
- Communication, organisation and planning skills and a flexible approach to working is required
- Competent level of computer skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
