What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and organized Manager to scale and optimize Service activities in support of the Tesla Semi program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record implementing cross-functional initiatives and scaling businesses, be highly customer-centric, and display an analytical approach to creative problem-solving.
What You'll Do
Continuously drive program improvement. Evaluate customer feedback and drive upstream for improvementCollaborate with key stakeholders to define and maintain roadmap for the Semi service programs based on business need and forecasted impact, with respective sub-projects and target timelines. Lead team members to deliver key milestones on target per program roadmapUnderstand and articulate project plans through all stages of lifecycle, maintaining documentation and reports through all milestones. Coordinate scaling operations as we expand deliveries (fixed, mobile, third party, collision, training, etc.) Identify KPIs to track progress, partner with Business Analytics to develop reporting suite Partner with IT team to deliver system solutions, to be used by field service or customer Provide clear updates on program status and recovery plans at both working and executive levelAct as liaison between internal teams to ensure success of initiatives and cross functional programs
What You'll Bring
Engineering/Business degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience managing programs/projects and partnering with key stakeholders throughout the organizationImpeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Collaborate with teams to ensure all requirements are met and manage implementation across all marketsCoordinates resources, provide clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks across the team. Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and exercises sound business judgmentEffectively handle multiple priorities to meet all objectives and deadlines. Assists others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project planEffective communicator across all levels of the organizationEvidence based decision-making skills Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast paced environment, quickly pivoting to meet business needs
