Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start August/September 2025 and continue through the entire Fall term (i.e. through approx December 2025) or into Winter/Spring 2026 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

As a Product Management Intern, you will help define and commercialize product offerings for B2B energy storage solutions across our two core segments: Utilities, Commercial & Industrial, and Microgrids. You will leverage your expertise to develop market and product requirements needed to deliver industry-leading products. You will also be a key technical member of a cross-functional Product Management team that also supports the ongoing development of technical content for sales, finance, and engineering teams for Tesla’s industrial energy products.
As a member of the Product Management team, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team-oriented personality, members of our team display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for helping build Service Offerings for our Industrial Energy Products.

What You'll Bring
Pursing a Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Energy related fieldAn understanding of project finance and what megapack customers care about is preferredExperience collecting market feedback in a B2B environment, and build insights based on a blend of qualitative, quantitative and market insights to develop a strong proposal for the future of megapack servicesAn overall rock-solid blend of engineering (electrical, mechanical) and commercial expertiseStrong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsAbility to execute many projects and tasks in parallel, across many teams, in a short timeframe, with demonstrated ability to pivot rapidlyDeep passion for changing the way we use energy on the electric gridA bias for action to propose changes as needed based on industry knowledge, voice of customer, techno-economic analysis, and business or mission valueExperience in product management or in the energy industry, preferably in the energy storage technology space would be nice to have

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
