About The Role
The individual will be a part of the Procurement Center of Excellence, responsible for providing support for strategic Procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, and sourcing process development and execution across four main procurement towers (direct materials, sourced finished goods, indirect services, logistics/transportation). This role will support information gathering, data consolidation, and data refinement activities.
What You Will Do
- Support the organization during data gathering and analysis activities
- Assist members of the Procurement and Category Sourcing groups in analyzing data to support shared objectives and drive strategy.
- Support strategic Procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, and sourcing development and execution across four main procurement areas (Direct Materials, Sourced Finished Goods, Indirect Services, Logistics/Transportation).
- Support information gathering, data consolidation, and data refinement activities.
- Support specialized projects as needed by the Purchasing Department during timing of work. This internship will support Data analysis projects, Purchasing Handbook and Contract Management.
Qualifications
What You Need
- Working on bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or related technical field
- Possesses strong analytical skills and demonstrates expertise in technical applications
- Problem-solving and project management skills and strives for continuous improvement
- Written and verbal communication skills
