The Controls Technicians primary responsibility is to implement and maintain the controls hardware, instrumentation, and electrical equipment at Redwood Materials.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Fabricate and perform upgrades and repairs to electrical control panels.
- Field wire instrumentation and motor controls.
- Perform and document maintenance calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Performs troubleshooting on all instrument systems and process control using PandID and electrical schematics.
- Desired Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 4+ years hands-on experience working in an automated manufacturing environment; fabricating and wiring control panels and troubleshooting control systems and instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics and competency around voltages up to 480V.
- Troubleshooting, and a knowledge of electromechanical systems is a big plus!

- Exposures encountered, such as hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold.

- Working Conditions:**
- Split work environment between office and the production facility.
- Work may involve extended periods of working in the production facility.
- Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time.
- May require occasional work weekends or alternate shifts to support production needs as needed.
The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
