About RivianRivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.
As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the HV Battery Pack Systems Engineering, focusing on design, development, and integration.
- Lead battery product electrical and control system architecture development for new programs.
- Lead the pack level systems design process to analyze vehicle, powertrain, and end-user specifications to derive pack system requirements focused on Electrical and Battery Control System domains.
- Support the derivation of pack system requirements focused on Performance, Thermal, Environmental, Service, and Manufacturing domains.
- Cascade sub-system requirements specifications, validation test procedures & requirements verification traceability.
- Deliver high voltage battery control system engineering outputs, including decomposing architectural design into subsystem requirements and verification tests – and driving cross-functional alignment of these items
