Senior Director, Global Real Estate and Facilities
What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to lead operations across multiple sites in India. This individual will play a key role in ensuring facilities are safe, compliant, and efficiently run. The role includes managing capital improvement projects, supporting real estate planning and negotiations, and overseeing the facilities budget to align with strategic and operational goals.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Help manage daily operations of facilities across multiple locations to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and appearance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead emergency preparedness and building compliance initiatives.
- Assist with office gatherings and support all activities within our space.
Capital Projects
- Plan, budget, and execute capital improvement projects (e.g., renovations, expansions, infrastructure upgrades).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Monitor construction projects from start to finish, quality control, and budget tracking.
Real Estate Support
- Collaborate with leadership on site selection, assist with lease negotiations, and space planning as needed.
- Assist in managing lease agreements, tenant improvements, and move logistics.
Budget & Financial Management
- Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, including operating expenses and capital expenditures.
- Track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability.
- Prepare and present reports on budget performance and long-term planning.
- Assist with FP&A projects as needed.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts (janitorial, HVAC, etc.).
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality and compliance with service level agreements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in multi-site facilities management, including capital project oversight.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, project management, and budget management.
- Familiarity with lease agreements and basic real estate principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in facilities management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
