What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start around Aug/Sep 2025 and continue through the Fall term (approximately December 2025). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.
About the team:
This Program Management intern will support new vehicle programs - from development and validation of early prototype builds, through start of production and ramp. They will coordinate vehicle firmware releases by pushing the software organization to hit aggressive milestones. This role will support firmware rollouts to our engineering fleet, as well as the full vehicle life cycle, and working alongside a myriad of partners to support various engineering needs, such as prototype hardware retrofit campaigns, driving confidence accumulation, and more.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fleet testing and validation improvements for faster engineering design cycle iterations Coordinate software OTA rollout to our worldwide engineering fleet of prototype vehicles Facilitate engineering vehicle allocation, tracking, use, and logistics across all engineering teams worldwide Support defining test metrics and tracking of progress towards those metrics Design, develop and maintain processes for engineering vehicle lifecycles worldwide Support quarterly global engineering fleet audits Coordinate prototype hardware retrofit campaigns – partnering with prototype shops to execute, ensuring part and firmware readiness
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Management, or related field of study with a graduation date between December 2025 – December 2026 Ability to be resourceful, and autonomously drive solutions in ambiguous problem spaces Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Experience working in a fast-paced R&D environment on several different projects Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and product development lifecycle

Expected Compensation
$28.85 - $42.07/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
