Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee all aspects of inventory management at our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts to ensure complete accuracy and accountability
- Collaborate closely with the national procurement team to monitor supply levels, deliveries, and order fulfillment needs
- Maintain an organized and clearly labeled warehouse environment; full implementation of organizational systems is expected within the first 30 days of employment
- Assist in receiving and processing early-morning deliveries by starting the workday at 3:00 AM
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company-specific protocols related to inventory handling and storage
- Develop and implement processes to improve inventory accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and streamline distribution operations
- Supervise warehouse team members, with training as needed in inventory best practices
Position Requirements:
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- 3+ years of inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics experience (cannabis industry experience preferred but not required)
- Proven ability to maintain accurate records and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to implement systems and maintain order in a dynamic environment
- Comfort working early morning shifts and in a physical, on-your-feet role
- Experience with inventory management systems and software platforms
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This position involves active participation in daily operations throughout the facility. including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the facility.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday from 3:00 am to 1:00 pm. Overtime may be required based on business needs. The employee will also be scheduled to work on most holidays.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays, based on business needs
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a rolling platform ladder
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
- General office environment
- Extended computer usage
- Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise
- The employee will encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday and must have a high regard for self-management, time management, and scheduling of activities
