Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for class 5-8 truck sales? Norfolk Truck Center is seeking an Experienced Truck Sales Representative to join our team at our 736 Tidewater Drive location in Norfolk, VA.
As a key player in our sales team, you'll be responsible for building strong customer relationships and selling International, Battle Motors, and Dennis Eagle trucks, along with all makes of used trucks. This is a field-based role requiring regular, in-person sales calls to customers within your assigned territory.

What You’ll Do:
- Proactively generate and maintain customer relationships through in-person visits, phone calls, and follow-ups.
- Regularly spend time outside of the office making sales calls and following up on quotes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system, including calls, appointments, quotes, and business interactions.
- Stay up to date on truck specifications and properly handle all paperwork associated with truck sales transactions.
- Work with the Service Department to coordinate PDI, repairs, and add-ons.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance Departments to assist customers with financing and insurance options.
- Conduct business ethically and professionally to maintain a strong reputation for both yourself and the dealership.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a competitive sales role
- 3+ years of self-directed, independent work experience
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales
- Strong problem-solving, record-keeping, and communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required)
- Proficiency with CRM software and Dealership Management Systems (CDK experience is a plus)
