What To Expect
The Spares Technician position will report to the Facilities Spares Inventory Control Supervisor and will be responsible for receiving spare parts, transacting parts into and out of inventory system, organizing and stocking parts in a variety of warehouse locations, transporting materials between warehouses, and interfacing directly with customers who are searching for parts at Tesla Semi facility. This person is expected to be able to execute against provided instructions from their Lead and Manager to accurately identify spare parts, perform data entry tasks, inventory cycle counts, create locations & labels for bins, fulfill part kitting requests and meet deadlines. The Spares Technician is expected to be able to communicate daily progress and be proactive in driving continuous process improvements. Experience with material handling equipment and warehouse systems are preferred.
What You'll Do
Support Tesla Semi Facilities team with spare parts for equipment repair Identify spare parts and track part numbers in iMaint CMMS Receive materials into iMaint CMMS and print labels/create bins Maintain a spare parts list using Excel Retrieve deliveries from the mailroom and dock as needed Perform cycle counting, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and organize materials Communicate daily results, issues, and ideas to the Project Manager
