Ultium Cells is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.3 Billion. It will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.
The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world's largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.

Summary
In this role, the Learning, Culture & Development Intern will be responsible for driving forward projects in support of critical Learning, Culture & Development priorities. The intent is to have a primary project that they can deliver on and based on capacity we will give them exposure to several other projects in order to give them a rounding of experiences and cross-departmental exposure.
Job Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
- Assisting with new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Presenting training to small and large groups
- Assist in coordination of training event
- Assist trainers with training content development
- Assist eLearning developer with content development
- Database data entry and management
- Mentoring and networking opportunities
- Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a program related HR, Learning, Industrial Psychology, or Instructional Design
- Prior experience in HR, Training, or Instructional Design a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be at least 18
- High energy and strong presentation skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Able to work flexible hours occasionally
- Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
