The Global Fleet and Products (GFP) Electrification and Infrastructure team is looking for a Principal, Product Management to lead the strategy and product development of Amazon Transportation Hubs (ATHs) for the Surface Transportation network in North America. ATHs will provide all of the fleet infrastructure required to support our Class 6 and 8 trucks, including alternative fueling infrastructure, EV charging, maintenance bays, driver amenities, and secured parking. This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with your Fleet Partners and Customers, Building Design, Business Development, Workplace Health and Safety, Operations, Legal, Public Policy, Finance, Tech Teams, Network Planning, Launch Execution teams, and Executive Leadership to bring our network of ATHs to North America.
This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills to lead strategy doc reviews at the VP level and above. This individual must be able to think strategically and make high-judgement decisions to maximize flexibility amidst changing environments and future ambiguity. This role requires proficient cross-functional influence to drive alignment across many stakeholders and deliver results.
10+% travel is required for this position
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Knowledge of alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) and zero emission vehicle (ZEV) operations
- Passion for building products at scale with a focus on customer-experience
- Experience diving deep into new products spaces and using operational data and VOC to drive product decisions
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome challenges with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
