What To Expect
Engineering team is looking for highly motivated entry level engineering technicians to support accelerated product durability testing. This role is very hands-on; Technicians personally assemble and disassemble vehicle components, build test fixtures, and execute tests. A successful candidate for this role must have a passion to learn and develop new skills. All team members collaborate to develop and implement effective solutions quickly.
What You'll Do
Execute tests: setup, perform inspections, conduct maintenance, and retrofits. Using multimeters, force gauges, and torque wrenchesDocument and report issues identified during tests or inspectionsCollaborate with Engineers to resolve mechanical & electrical issues discoveredSupport Engineers in instrumentation and data acquisitionAssist and learn from other Technicians and EngineersAssemble & wire test fixturesCollaborate with team for lab organization and usageUnderstanding of Ohms law, Kirchhoff's lawsUse of bandsaws and a drill press for any test fabrication
What You'll Bring
Excellent attention to detail along with written & verbal communication skillsAnalytical problem-solving skills and strong organization skillsWorking principals of common thermal components - operation, testing and characterizationExperience using standard lab and test equipment like power supplies, DAQs, pressure transducers, flow meters, temperature sensorsExperience with HVAC and refrigerant systemsAbility to solder, crimp, and read wire diagramsBasic experience with MS office tools (Outlook/Excel/Word)Experience working with high voltage and low voltage componentsPrevious experience with CAN communicationExperience working on vehicle level systems

Expected Compensation
$28.80 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
