What To Expect
The PEAK (Professional Engineering Accelerated Knowledge) Program provides early career engineers with the opportunity to develop their engineering skills in a challenging, fast-paced, and impactful manufacturing or construction engineering role onsite at Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada. Throughout the program, you will develop either process, quality, construction, or equipment engineering skills to optimize & sustain either our highly advanced manufacturing equipment or our manufacturing facilities. You will embark on a transformative journey to make a real difference and elevate your engineering abilities.
Structure of the PEAK Program: The 6-month program will consist of the following components: Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Online Training (OLT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and engineering projects. The training curriculum is based upon being a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or Equipment Engineer on our Battery, Drive Unit, Quality, Semi, Facility, or Production Control teams.
The PEAK program does not align you with a specialized occupation since you will be in a training program. Due to this, you will not be eligible for the H1B lottery, while you are in the program. If your university is aligned, you may be eligible to utilize your OPT during this year program.
What You'll Do
