As a Program Manager for Star Charge Americas, a Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) company, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of EV charging equipment to our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of EVSE solutions, meeting client requirements, industry standards, and project timelines. This position requires strong project management skills, technical knowledge of EV charging systems, and the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
Your Main Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Work with customers and internal teams to identify and develop project needs and timeline
- Coordinate with internal workgroups to allocate resources to complete tasks and schedules on time
- Monitor and report project progress to internal and external stakeholders and raise any concerns with potential risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
Internal Team Collaboration
- Work with different internal departments (Sales, Production, Marketing, and Engineering) to develop gaps in processes and work to develop efficient ways to streamline work tasks.
- Implementing workflows to smooth interdepartmental processes.
Client Management
- Working with the Account Manager, you will service as one of the primary points of contact for the client, managing expectations, and fostering positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- This will include communicating development milestones, shipping statuses, station repair or warranty concerns, and issue escalations.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and development lead-times.
- Generate regular status reports for internal stakeholders and clients that summarize project status, project milestones, key achievements, and next steps.
- Take meeting minutes and send out action items and take-aways from calls.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- At least three years of related experience required, preferably in EVSE field.
