The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking a Renewals Support Intern to manage routine and ad hoc special projects to drive software renewals and software customer success. As part of the Sales team, the Renewal Support Intern provides substantive support compiling pre-call information for the account executives and contributing to the improvement of the customer on-boarding process, including the set up and deployment of training webinars. The Renewal Support Intern plays an important role in the software renewal process and provides substantive administrative support to the customer success team. The intern provides support to improve cross-department cohesion and effectiveness by preparing the sales team with important information for their software renewal conversations with customers.
The Renewals Support Intern is a current college junior/senior, or a college graduate with 1+ years experience in a sales/marketing role. The intern is undeterred by complexities and enjoys compiling information with a purpose.
What You’ll Do
- Compile pre-call information for customers who have software renewals coming up.
- Track information in a spreadsheet so sales opportunities can be auto-loaded into Salesforce.com.
- Support the set up and deployment of weekly customer training webinars.
- Provide final recommendation on process improvements and resource needed to conduct this work long term.
- Other projects related to customer success as time permits.
Your Experience and Capabilities
- Current college junior, senior, or graduate student.
- 1+ year experience in sales or marketing preferred.
- The intern must be detail-oriented, comfortable learning and navigating tech platforms (including InControl, Salesforce, Zoom, Excel) and satisfied with the administrative and research-oriented task of documenting account history. Intern must be curious to understand and navigate the nuanced complexities of a customer’s historical data. Interns should be interested in learning about the sales process, B2B SaaS software renewals, and/or the EV charging industry. The role requires a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
