What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start in-person around August or September 2024 and continue through the entire fall term (i.e. through end of 2024) or into early 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week in-person. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Our team is aligned around three pillars - Design, Build and Operate. Focused on optimizing the space we have, finding the best solutions to our immediate term expansion needs, and devising and driving our long-term strategy. All of this under the guiding principle of sustainability.
What You'll Do
Project Start-Up task tracking including: contracts, proposal letters, work authorizations, scopes of works etc. Early Project Phases tasks including but not limited to: programming data worksheets, project filing, creation/maintenance of various spreadsheets, maintenance of logs (contracts, work authorization, etc.), meeting coordination, preparation of meeting agendas and meeting notesConstruction Documentation/Administration Phases tasks include: file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs & submittals, QA/QC documentsProject Execution tasks include: contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs, managing the planning and design stages of construction projects, preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager, liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, overseeing construction process in field, coordinating inspections with AHJ and documenting, ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget, documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs, presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers, and documenting field conditions via measurements, drone photos, etc.
