What To Expect
Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start in-person around August or September 2024 and continue through the entire fall term (i.e. through end of 2024) or into early 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week in-person. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

What You'll Do
Support the design and construction of industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities and related site infrastructure including roadways and underground utilities Work with multidiscipline project teams including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineering professionalsSupport preparation of civil engineering design drawings, plans, profiles, sections, and details Coordinate design input and markups from civil engineering team Work with the BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results and incorporate new design into the existing facility models Utilize and improve civil design standards and details Develop and improve design skills; engineering understanding Support presenting 30% 60% 90% plan reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or a related fieldAbility to work with a diverse team Communicate effectively Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and timelines Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Test taken and passed Previous internship or work experience in a related engineering field Experience with AutoCAD Ability to work independently with minimal oversight; prioritize and manage multiple assignments
