Consider before submitting an application:
This position is expected to start around August 2024 and continue through the entire Fall term (i.e through December 2024) or into Spring 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Your application for the Electrical & Electronic Design Engineer Internship will be considered across all opportunities for the teams listed below:
The Robotic Systems Integration team, which owns the electrical and hardware design, test, and prototype for all the power electronics that go into Tesla Bot. The ensure's the product functions are successfully achieved by the integrated subsystems as they interact in the context of Tesla BotThe Robotics Electronic Design & Circuitry team that works on the low voltge and power distributions systems. You'll be exposed to various aspects of the Tesla Bot, such as controllers, sensors, actuators, battery, and harnesses. You will take part in designing full robot circuitry and document requirements, calculations, design decisions, service documentation etc
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field Experience with analog and digital circuit design and PCBAExperience with PCB component selection Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and verbal) Experience in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis Basics of serial communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.)

Expected Compensation
$20.00 - $50.00/hour + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
