What To Expect
The Tesla Energy Technical Operations Support team team creates and manages a wide variety of training documentation that supports key stakeholders across multiple product lines and business functions including Energy Storage, Charging, Solar, and Business Support. The team is looking for a learning experience designer intern who will conceptualize, create, and distribute engaging technical content designed to enhance the training experience of multiple teams across the Energy organization by analyzing training needs, designing solutions aligned with learning objectives, and creating instructional content that supports key performance indicators. A strong sense of creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and problem-solving skills are required for success in this role.

What You'll Do
Collaborate with department leaders, program managers, and business partners to analyze performance problems and contribute to the development of engaging training content for various audiences and delivery modesAssist in conceptualizing and creating training materials, including e-Learnings, course exams, training manuals, instructional videos, and certification programs, designed to enhance user experiences in training environmentsContribute to the evaluation of existing training content and provide insights on necessary updates or improvementsWork closely with e-Learning developers and multimedia specialists to support the publishing and distribution of interactive online coursesParticipate in project management for documentation initiatives, ensuring adherence to team processes and addressing priorities appropriately
What You'll Bring
Interest or coursework in instructional design, technical writing, or training content development, preferably in a high-tech or product-centric environmentBasic understanding of core concepts in training, curriculum development, and adult learning theory, with a willingness to learn and apply them in practiceExposure to energy technology, automotive technology, or other high-tech products is a plusDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on creating high-quality content for both internal and external audiencesCapacity to grasp complex technical information and communicate it effectively to various end users
