Job Title: Production Clerk
Shift: Day Shift
Department: Electrode - Administration
Summary
The Production Clerk provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and procurement department activities. The individual maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. The Clerk should have tasks requiring skills and knowledge found in the materials functions.
What You'll Do
- Updates and maintains department Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and Quality documents
- Experience with ISO document procedures
- Works with department supervisors and hourly staff to ensure that hourly employee working time is recorded accurately
- Records production data, including daily production, scrap, and defects
- Handles daily requisitions and maintains production supply inventory
- Distributes production schedules and work orders to departments
- Completes and updates production and Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) charts daily
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education
- Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Business Associates Degree
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Strong communicator with all levels of employees
- Excellent interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Manufacturing/Production experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for -specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment.
